AMROC is the fluid solver framework of the Virtual Test Facility. The core of AMROC provides all higher level C++ algorithms for implementing mesh adaptivity on distributed blockstructured hierarchical patches.

In the Virtual Test Facility AMROC is coupled specially to the SFC Thin-Shell Finite Element Solver. Several fully coupled Virtual Test Facility applications are documented.
