AMROC Fluid-solver Framework

AMROC is the fluid solver framework of the Virtual Test Facility. The core of AMROC provides all higher level C++ algorithms for implementing mesh adaptivity on distributed blockstructured hierarchical patches.

The following patch solver packages are currently available in AMROC:

• AMROC's extended Clawpack
• Riemann Invariant Manifold Method
• Balans Method
• WENO-TCD-LES
• Lattice Boltzmann Method
• EGLM MHD Method

Various fluid examples with these solver are documented in AMROC Applications.

In the Virtual Test Facility AMROC is coupled specially to the SFC Thin-Shell Finite Element Solver. Several fully coupled Virtual Test Facility applications are documented.
